Friends who support The Center for Advanced Musical
Studies appreciate the commitment and passion shared by our extraordinary
faculty and participants, the uniqueness of our educational mission,
the quality of our many free performances, and the beauty of our location.
Participants in our seminars will play a vital
role in forging our nation's cultural life in years to come, and
many are already heavily burdened by the cost of ongoing studies elsewhere.
Many of our participants (who give up summer
income to attend) are in need of scholarship support.
Most of our concerts are offered free for members
of the Upper Valley community to attend. Tuition accounts for approximately
60% of our annual costs. The rest must be gained through contributions.
